Your order is your offer to purchase items from Calpton listed in your order.
After placing an order to purchase goods on calpton.com, an email confirming the receipt of your order and containing your order details and number (Order Confirmation) will be forwarded to your email address.
The Order Confirmation confirms that your order is received and does not imply that Calpton accepts your offer to purchase the goods.
As soon as we dispatch the goods and send you an email confirming that the goods are dispatched (Dispatch Confirmation), we accept your offer and enter into a Sales Contract for the goods you ordered.
You cannot change or add anything to your order. You can cancel your order free of charge at any time before we send you the Dispatch Confirmation.

The Sales Contract is concluded with the Seller Calpton SIA, registration number 40203084784.

You consent to receive invoices electronically. Electronic invoices will be emailed to you in pdf.

Calpton accepts different payment options including credit and debit cards.
The following payment methods are available:
  • Credit card payment: MasterCard, American Express, and Visa card.
  • PayPal
  • Paysera
You are advised to contact us to check the availability of paying by direct debit from a bank account. We reserve the right to limit the payment of some orders by credit card only.

Payment Options
Bank Card Payment Verification
Once you place an order, you may be redirected to your bank's page to confirm your payment.
Your bank may instruct you to confirm your purchase in order to maintain high security standards.
To confirm credit card payment:
  1. Follow the instructions on your bank's website.
  2. You bank may ask you to use unique security code as one of the ways of confirmation.
  3. Check your phone or email for the code and enter it upon request.
  4. Alternatively, your bank may ask you to confirm the purchase using your fingerprint or face recognition technology, if you have one.
Once completed, you will be redirected back to Calpton website and receive confirmation that your order has been successfully processed.
What to do if verification fails
Contact your bank if you are unable to confirm your payment, have an error message, or cannot successfully complete verification.
To protect your safety and privacy, your bank cannot provide Calpton with information about the reasons why your payment is declined or why your verification fails. Contact your bank directly to resolve payment issues.
Delivery
All orders are shipped by Calpton from the warehouse in Europe.

Delivery times depend on UPS and DHL terms.
Please note that, in some cases, orders may take longer to deliver, for example, due to delays in air or land shipment, customs services or any other unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of Calpton.
Shipping restrictions
Please note: Courier companies do not deliver orders to Crimea, Kosovo, the Canary Islands, and some other territories.
In some countries, there are restrictions or recommendations on the number of units of one item in one package when imported from abroad.
Please check this information with your customs office.
Taxes and duties
If the delivery destination is beyond the European Union, you may need to pay import taxes, customs duties and/or fee for customs brokerage service (handling) for your order.
These charges are not included in the price of the goods.
Customs policies may differ from country to country, so reach out your local customs office for more information.

In accordance with local law, the delivery service or customs authorities may contact you by phone or email to request additional information.
Right to return goods
The Buyer has the right to reject the goods within 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods by the Buyer or a third party specified by the Buyer.
After receiving the goods, the Buyer is responsible for keeping the quality and safety of the goods within the period of exercise of the rejection right. In order to exercise the right to return the goods, the goods must be unused, undamaged, and in their original form (with undamaged and attached labels, protective films, etc.).
The Buyer cannot exercise the rejection right if:
  • the Buyer purchased food additives requiring certain storage conditions (limitation of humidity, light, temperature, etc.);
  • the Buyer has opened the original packaging of the goods or if the packaging or goods are damaged.
In order to return the purchased goods, the Buyer must fill out the Rejection Report, and send the Rejection Report via

Calpton will notify the Buyer of the receipt of the Rejection Report and will advise the Buyer of the decision or the time it will take to make a decision.

The Buyer must return the goods to Calpton immediately, but no later than within 14 days from the date when the completed Rejection Report was sent to Calpton, by sending the goods by courier to the following address: Lāčplēša iela 87, Rīga, LV-1011, Latvija.
The costs related to the goods return are carried out by the Buyer.

Calpton will reimburse the payments received from the Buyer to the Buyer, including shipping costs (excluding additional costs incurred by the Buyer due to the choice of a shipping method other than the cheapest standard shipping method offered by Calpton) within 14 days of meeting both conditions: the receipt of the Rejection Report completed by the Buyer (termination of the Contract) by Calpton and the receipt of the goods by Calpton which the Buyer rejects. Calpton returns the specified amount by transfer to the Buyer's bank account.

Calpton has the right to withhold refunds until the Buyer has received the goods that the Buyer wishes to reject, and not to make a refund if any of the conditions above are present, when the Buyer is unable to exercise the rejection right.
Consumer claim for non-conformity of goods
The Buyer has the right to file a claim against Calpton for non-conformity of the goods with the terms of the Contract within 2 years from the date of the purchase. The claim must be submitted to Calpton within two months from the date when the Buyer discovered that the goods did not comply with the terms of the contract. The day of the purchase is the day when Calpton dispatched the goods, and the Buyer received the relevant goods.

If Calpton admits the validity of the Buyer's claim, Calpton will exchange the wrong or damaged goods by means of mutual agreement with the Buyer to exchange the goods.
Our liability
We do our best to ensure the continuous availability of goods on calpton.com and the absence of errors when transmitting the data. However, given the nature of the Internet, it cannot be guaranteed. Additionally, the access to calpton.com may be suspended or restricted occasionally for repairs, maintenance or the addition of new items. We apply every effort to reduce the frequency and duration of similar suspensions or restrictions.
Calpton is liable for damages caused by willful or gross negligence of duties by Calpton or Calpton's legal representatives/trusted representatives.
Calpton is only liable for foreseeable damages typical for a Sales Contract. The manufacturer of the goods is responsible for the quality and composition of the goods.
Calpton is not liable for the manufacturer of the goods and is not responsible to the Buyer for the impact of the use of the goods on the health, safety, and life of the Buyer.

To the extent that Calpton's liability is excluded or limited, such exclusion or limitation also applies to Calpton employees, legal representatives or trusted representatives.

Applicable legislation
The following terms of sale are regulated by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia, the application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Latvia, which means that you can file a claim for the protection of your consumer rights in relation to the current terms of sale in the Republic of Latvia.
